Κουράστηκες από τη σύγχυση, το άγχος και δυσκολεύεσαι να ανακάμψεις ψυχολογικά;

Συχνά ο όρος ψυχοθεραπεία είναι παρεξηγημένος, καθώς συγχέεται με τον τομέα της ψυχιατρικής. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι και τα δύο επαγγέλματα σχετίζονται με την ψυχική υγεία, αλλά η σημαντικότερη διαφορά είναι ότι οποιοσδήποτε μπορεί να κάνει ψυχοθεραπεία με σκοπό απλώς να μοιραστεί τους εσωτερικούς προβληματισμούς του με κάποιον, ο οποίος να είναι  αμερόληπτος. Αντίθετα, στον Ψυχίατρο απευθύνονται άνθρωποι με πολύ σοβαρότερα ψυχικά προβλήματα και διαταραχές, καθώς έχει την δυνατότητα να συνταγογραφήσει σχετική φαρμακευτική αγωγή.
